My cystic acne struggle began in childhood and worsened with harsh products.
Real change started when I focused on gut health and nutrition in my 30s.
The gut–skin connection is real — microbiome, nutrients, digestion, and stress all matter.
Bioresonance testing at Neighborly Wellness uncovered hidden bacterial and parasitic stressors that needed addressing.
The Skin Harmony Bundle provides inside-out skin support with Multi, Omega-3, Digest, and Gut Restore.
The Beauty Kit offers gentle, oil-based skincare for external nourishment.
Together, they create a full Skin Harmony System for radiance and balance.
Since I was a young girl, I struggled with my skin. Cystic acne, redness, irritation — you name it, I went through it. My family wasn’t very supportive or helpful when it came to health, so I had to learn to take care of myself far earlier than most kids.
The truth? I didn’t have much. I had zero money, so I was limited to whatever I could find at Walgreens or Walmart. Those were my “solutions.” Harsh cleansers, skin-drying toners, and products full of chemicals that stripped my skin. Instead of helping, they left me feeling worse. My cystic acne became inflamed, my complexion looked unsightly, and my self-esteem sank even lower.
Like so many people, I thought the fix had to be something I could apply to the outside. I didn’t yet realize that my skin’s condition was really a reflection of what was happening inside my body.
It wasn’t until my 30s that I began to understand the truth: skin health begins within.
By then, I had lived enough life and experienced enough frustration to realize that covering up symptoms wasn’t the answer. My body was trying to tell me something — through breakouts, inflammation, and irritation. I needed to get to the root cause.
The shift started with my husband, Chip. He’s not only my partner in life but also a brilliant researcher. Together we began digging into the science of the gut–skin connection. What we discovered changed everything.
Your skin isn’t just a surface organ. It’s a mirror of what’s happening inside your body.
Microbiome Imbalance: If the gut is overrun with harmful microbes, it can trigger inflammation that shows up on the skin.
Nutrient Deficiencies: Without enough zinc, B vitamins, or omega-3 fatty acids, the skin struggles to heal and protect itself.
Digestion & Absorption Issues: Even if you eat well, you may not be breaking down and absorbing nutrients properly. That starves the skin of what it needs.
Stress Response: Stress and hormone imbalance can worsen both gut health and skin health, creating a vicious cycle.
When we began addressing these root causes, my skin started to shift — slowly but surely.
Here’s the inside-out approach that transformed my skin:
Bioresonance Testing at Neighborly Wellness
At my clinic, Neighborly Wellness, we used bioresonance to uncover hidden bacterial and parasitic infections that were stressing my system. Having that information gave me clarity on what needed to be addressed internally to improve not only my skin but also my overall health.
At Neighborly Wellness, we use a technology called bioresonance to scan the body for energetic imbalances. Unlike conventional tests, it provides a deep look at stressors that may be affecting your overall wellness.
When I was struggling with my skin, bioresonance revealed hidden bacterial and parasitic infections that were draining my system and contributing to inflammation. With that knowledge, I could finally address the internal imbalances that were showing up as acne and irritation on my skin.
✨ For me, bioresonance was the missing piece — the map that showed me what my body needed to rebalance.

As Chip researched, he began formulating products under our brand TrueMedX — focusing on gut health, nutrient balance, and cellular wellness. Meanwhile, I started creating complementary oil-based topicals I could use on my skin.
The idea was simple but powerful: heal the skin from the inside out.
Chip focused on the internal — gut, metabolism, and nutrient delivery. I focused on the external — gentle oils and serums to calm, restore, and hydrate the skin barrier. Together, we built a system that supports both sides of the equation.
This journey is what inspired the Skin Harmony Bundle — our inside-out approach to beauty. It reflects the exact foundation that changed my skin and my life.
Included Products:
Multi – Daily multivitamin with B-complex, biotin, and antioxidants
Enhanced Omega-3 with CBG – Premium omega blend to hydrate and calm
Digest Powder – Amino acids and enzymes to support nutrient delivery
Gut Restore Tablets – Botanical blend with berberine and zinc for microbiome balance
To nourish the skin externally, I still use gentle, oil-based topicals. That’s why we created the TrueMedX Beauty Kit – Clean, Treat, Protect.
This 3-step system includes an oil cleanser, antioxidant-rich serum, and collagen cream. It’s the perfect complement to the Skin Harmony Bundle for complete inside + outside support.
If I could go back and tell my younger self anything, it would be this:
Don’t just treat the surface — heal from within.
Your skin reflects your gut health.
Vitamins, minerals, and omegas are essential for beauty.
True healing takes time, but it’s worth it.
Yes — gut imbalance can trigger inflammation that shows up as acne, redness, or irritation. Supporting microbial balance often improves skin clarity.
B vitamins (especially biotin), vitamin C, vitamin E, and zinc are all critical for skin vitality and repair.
Omega-3s support hydration, elasticity, and calm inflammation, which helps the skin look and feel healthier.
Topicals can help protect and soothe, but lasting change usually requires internal support — digestion, nutrients, and gut balance.
Everyone is different, but most people notice changes in energy and digestion first, then improvements in skin clarity and vitality over several weeks.
