00:01:05 – 00:02:19 | Guest Intro
Host:
Through these powerful brands, Cindy and Chip have built an ecosystem that empowers people to take control of their health through education, advanced technologies, and nature-based solutions.

Welcome to the Optimindx Podcast, where we sit down with entrepreneurs and innovators shaping the future of health, wellness, and technology. Today we are thrilled to be joined by Cindy and Chip Paul, the visionary husband-and-wife duo behind TrueMedX, Neighborly Wellness, and the popular Chip Talks Health podcast.

Chip is a leading expert on the endocannabinoid system, known for his research and advocacy work, including his role in Oklahoma’s SQ788 medical cannabis initiative. Cindy is a wellness educator and strategist, passionate about nutrition, clean eating, and meal planning.

Together, they are reshaping the wellness landscape with a unique blend of science, natural solutions, and technology.

Chip & Cindy:
Thank you for having us — we’re excited to be here!

00:02:19 – 00:04:55 | Origins of TrueMedX
Host:
Can you share what inspired you to create TrueMedX and Neighborly Wellness?

Chip:
It started with an idea: God is a perfect engineer. If we understand our function well enough and we understand nature well enough, we should be able to support healing outside of acute or traumatic care.

That idea, paired with our knowledge of the endocannabinoid system, led to some unique innovations — and eventually to a patent. From that patent, TrueMedX was born.

Cindy:
And our “why” was really simple: we saw a problem with pharmaceuticals. I had undergone cervical fusions in 2010 and 2012 and didn’t want to take pain pills. So during recovery, I relied on herbs like licorice root, clove, and turmeric. And they worked. That inspired our first formulas for pain and inflammation.

00:04:56 – 00:07:47 | What is Bioresonance?
Host:
Can you explain bioresonance for our listeners?

Cindy:
Bioresonance uses frequency to energetically measure the body and return information about what might be going on inside.

Chip:
Think of it this way: every cell has a frequency. When they’re “in tune,” they work together to form tissues and organs. But infection or stress causes static, and sometimes cells “disconnect” from the collective.

That disconnect can drive imbalance, but bioresonance lets us measure these frequencies and see where things might be out of rhythm.

00:07:47 – 00:10:32 | Gut Health & Personal Experience
Cindy:
When we started using bioresonance, I tested myself first and discovered parasites and H. pylori. That insight changed everything. It explained why I was struggling with digestion and inspired us to develop a full line of gut health products.

Chip:
Most of our products are inspired by personal experience or by clients close to us. Each innovation comes from a challenge we’ve faced firsthand.

00:11:31 – 00:13:43 | The Endocannabinoid System (ECS)
Chip:
What fascinates me most about the ECS is that it’s almost hidden. It isn’t taught at the PhD level anywhere in the world. Why? Because once you teach it, it challenges all the medical and pharmaceutical paradigms.

Conventional medicine assumes people are broken. Holistic philosophy assumes we are built perfectly — and if we remove barriers, the body will restore balance.

00:14:14 – 00:15:59 | Nutrition as Foundation
Cindy:
Socrates said it best: “Let food be thy medicine.” Unfortunately, food today isn’t what it was 100 years ago. Soil depletion and processing have left us undernourished.

At Neighborly, we help people reconnect with seasonal, whole foods. Sometimes vegetables can even be harmful depending on how the body processes them, so it’s about learning what truly serves your body.

Chip:
You literally program yourself through diet. Essential fats, amino acids, trace minerals — most people are deficient in at least some of them. Nutrition is the foundation.

00:19:12 – 00:21:02 | Advocacy & Activism
Chip:
Cannabis is really an interesting issue. It is well supported, but the people who are against it are extremely passionate. Our activism for cannabis access has hurt us, but at the same time, it’s been the right thing to do.

00:27:04 – 00:29:50 | The Power of AI
Chip:
AI has transformed my work as a researcher. What used to take me days of reading studies now takes minutes.

Cindy:
And I use AI on the communication side. Chip’s research is highly scientific, and AI helps me simplify it into plain language for blogs, podcasts, and social posts.

Chip:
Ultimately, I want all my data in one place — lab tests, scans, results — and to be able to ask an AI chatbot questions about my own health profile. That’s where we’re headed.

00:32:51 – 00:34:43 | Fixing the Wellness Industry
Chip:
If I could fix one issue, it would be the lack of truthful information. Too many systems profit from the assumption that people are broken. AI can help shift authority toward truth and away from misinformation.

Cindy:
And better education for wellness providers is needed. That’s why we started the Wellness Alliance of Oklahoma — to connect people with trusted practitioners.

00:35:09 – 00:37:50 | Leadership & Grit
Cindy:
When we collaborate or hire, like-mindedness is essential. Without a shared philosophy, it doesn’t work.

Chip:
And grit is everything. We’ve had payment processors pulled, websites shut down, and licenses challenged. What carries you through is grit and the belief that the mission matters.

00:37:50 – Closing
Host:
Cindy and Chip, thank you for sharing your story. It’s inspiring to see how you’ve built a holistic wellness ecosystem that combines natural solutions, advanced technologies, and deep education.

Cindy & Chip:
Thank you — it’s been a pleasure.

From Idea to Ecosystem

When the hosts introduced us, they described TrueMedX and Neighborly Wellness as an ecosystem that empowers people through natural solutions, advanced technologies, and deep education. That’s exactly what we have worked so hard to build.

Chip shared the belief that started it all: “God is a perfect engineer. Every cell is built perfectly. If we just get out of the way and understand what you need, you’ll heal yourself.”

That truth, combined with Chip’s research on the endocannabinoid system (ECS) and my own recovery experience after spinal surgeries, is what led to our first products and eventually the TrueMedX brand.

Why We Opened Neighborly Wellness

TrueMedX gave us the formulas, but we needed a way to help people understand which products were right for them. That’s when I came up with the idea for Neighborly Wellness.

At our clinic in Edmond, we use bioresonance scans, thermal imaging, red light therapy, and other services to uncover hidden patterns that may be holding people back. These tools don’t diagnose or cure anything, but they give us a picture of what’s happening inside so we can guide people toward nutrition, supplements, or lifestyle strategies that make sense for them.

Frequency, Gut Health, and the ECS

Chip explained beautifully how every cell carries a frequency and how bioresonance can measure when those frequencies are “in tune” or when static creeps in. The ECS acts like the conductor of the body’s symphony, helping keep everything connected.

I also shared how my own digestive struggles—including parasites and H. pylori—were first revealed through scans. That experience pushed us to create a full line of gut health products and deepened our understanding of how imbalances affect overall wellness.

Food as the First Medicine

One of my favorite parts of the interview was talking about nutrition. Socrates said, “Let food be thy medicine,” and it’s still true today. The problem is that our food supply isn’t what it used to be—soils are depleted, processed foods dominate our diets, and even healthy vegetables can be tricky.

At Neighborly Wellness, we help people reconnect with seasonal, whole foods and then fill the gaps with supplements. As Chip often says, diet literally “programs” your biology, so nutrition is always the first step.

Activism and Advocacy

Chip also reflected on our role in Oklahoma’s SQ788 campaign for medical cannabis. He said it best: “Cannabis is really an interesting issue. It is well supported, which is nice, but the people who are against it are extremely passionate against it.”

And while activism has come with challenges, Chip added: “Our activism and what we’ve been able to do for people of Oklahoma and people nationally for access to cannabis has hurt us. But at the same time, it’s been the right thing to do.”

We’ve always believed in standing for what is right, even when it’s not easy.

The Power of AI

Another exciting part of the conversation was how artificial intelligence is reshaping our work. Chip uses AI to process research at incredible speed, while I use it to simplify complex science into blogs, posts, and education that anyone can understand.

As Chip said: “I want all my data in one place, and then I want to be able to go in with an AI tool or a chatbot and ask questions about my own profile.” That’s the future we’re building toward—personalized, accessible, and empowering.

Leadership and Grit

Running mission-driven businesses takes grit. We’ve faced obstacles from stigma to financial struggles, but passion has carried us through. The hosts put it perfectly: “It’s inspiring to see how you build a holistic wellness ecosystem that combines natural solutions, advanced technologies, and deep education to support people and to help people truly heal.”

That’s what keeps us going.

Final Thoughts

I’m so grateful to the Optimindx team for letting us share our journey. At the heart of TrueMedX and Neighborly Wellness is the belief that we are perfect by design, that education matters, and that nature and science work best when they work together.

Through our supplements, our clinic, our book Perfect by Design, and the Chip Talks Health podcast, our mission is simple: to give people the tools and knowledge they need to reclaim their health sovereignty.
